The reputed cosmetic brand, ‘L’oreal’ has chosen Freida to be the face of the cosmetic group L’Oreal Paris. With this she becomes the third Indian actress to be the face of the brand after Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor.

At present the actress is gearing up for her forthcoming project with Woody Allen, the shooting for which will begin in July this year. The film has top names like Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderes and Nicole Kidman.

Dev Patel and Freida Pinto who played childhood sweethearts in multiple Oscar winning movie Slumdog Millionaire are actually dating in real life as well. There were always had romours that whether both of them seeing each other, but they always dismissed it.

Although they have denied the fact several times, they have recently spotted cuddling each other in a romantic lunch date in Israel where Freida is shooting for an international film called Miral.

One onlooker at the restaurant revealed, “They looked very happy together and they didn’t seem to care who saw them. Dev couldn’t take his eyes off her and she couldn’t help cuddling up to him.”

However, Dev’s mother Anita also has confirmed that her son is dating Frieda as she quoted, “Life can’t get any better for him. Freida is really beautiful and I am really happy for them. Yes, we knew he was flying to Israel to see her.”

Freida Pinto is one girl who is surely riding high with success of Slumdog Millionaire at the Oscars. The girl is on every hollywood director’s wish-list.

Sources suggest Freida Pinto has signed on writer-director Julian Schnabel’s (of Oscar-nominated French film, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly fame) new film, Miral.

Freida arrived in Israel last week for the film’s shoot.

According to The Jerusalem Post, the actress arrived a month early to prepare for her role in Miral, a joint French-Israeli production.

Set in Jerusalem, the movie is about Hind Husseini’s effort to set up an orphanage in the city following the creation of the state in 1948. The shoot will begin in April and will be released next year.

There were report floating around about Freida Pinto being invited for the screen test for the next Bond flick. Well the rumors have been put to an end by Freida Pinto.

She told an Indian TV channel that she has not been given the screen test for the next Bond flick, as was reported by tabloids earlier. Freida then added that she “is no Bond girl but is flattered by the rumors”.
