Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Akshay Kumar have been conferred with one of the most prestigious civilian awards of India - Padmashree Award.

The function took place at Ashoka Hall of the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi.

Apart from Aiswarya the entire Bachchan family was also present at the award where she was awarded padmashree award by the president of India.

Akshay Kumar’s name was also announced for this recognition. Akshay’s wife Twinkle was also present at the event.

If sources & rumors are to be believed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is going to be the first Indian Bollywood personality to be featured as a Barbie creation.

Aishwarya Rai may join the league of celebrities in Hollywood ie., celebrities like Diana Ross, Cher, Beyonce etc who have lend their looks to the Barbies.

Sources say that Aishwarya is currently in secret talks with Mattel Toys - India and the deal will take some time to finalize.
